The AHREX SA290 and SA292 is the hook for the biggest flies. Developed alongside saltwater legend and creator of the beast-style flies, Bob Popovics, they have an oversized hook-eye, allowing heavy shock tippet and comes in a heavy gauge for keeping your big flies keeled properly and swimming naturally. Plus an almost 90 degree bend which drastically helps avoid fouling. The SA292 has a longer shank compared with the SA290.
