The Original Crouser Fly (Locally Tied)

What happens when you combine a crab and clouser pattern? Well, the "Crouser!" Up here in Maine, we use a lot of crab and clouser patterns pulled along the sandy bottomed flats for striped bass. Joe Webster combined these two popular patterns and this Crouser fly pattern has been in the shop bins ever since. These flies we are offering are tied with striped bass in mind, but custom sizes and hooks can be used upon request for flats fishing anglers who target species which also like crab and shrimp such as bonefish, permit, and redfish! This can also be a great crayfish pattern for smallmouth bass!
