The Rapor Smelt is a classic style trout streamer that uses a combination of natural and synthetic materials. It also uses a technique with UV resin on the body for weight and appearance. A fairly simple fly to tie, you can easily change it with basic material color combinations. However, I have found in terms of smelt, these two color combos have been the most productive.
