Articulated Beast Fleye (Locally Tied)

A favored fly among large striped bass in Maine, this articulated hollow fly pattern is designed and crafted to catch big fish. With a profile that matches most of the baitfish found here along the Maine coast and great movement to match, this pattern will fool any fish that is interested in a big easy meal. These flies are extremely durable with every tie being secured with resin and extensions tied on stainless steel shanks. They are about 10” long. Heavily inspired by Bob Popovics original beast fly, with a little Blane Chocklett shank action and a Mark Sedotti weight balancing mentality. Similar but different than the rest out there. For best results fish with an intermediate or sinking/sink tip line.
