Developed by legendary fly tyer and saltwater fly tying pioneer Bob Popovics, the bucktail deciever (aka BTD) is one of the most productive and versatile baitfish patterns ever created. Made with just standard straight ties of bucktail that embrace the natural flare of the material creating a beautiful taper and baitfish profile. This pattern is light and extremely castable. Tied to the best of our ability with the best materials we have access to. Tied on 2/0 Ahrex SA210 Bob Clouser hooks which are great hooks for not only striped bass and other saltwater species but also pike, musky and freshwater bass!
