Developed by legendary fly tyer and saltwater fly tying pioneer Bob Popovics, the hollow "fleye" is one of the most productive and versatile baitfish patterns ever created. Made with hollow ties of bucktail that embrace the exaggerated flare of the material creating a beautiful taper and baitfish profile. This pattern is light and extremely castable. Tied on 3/0 Ahrex SA210 Bob Clouser hooks which are great hooks for not only striped bass and other saltwater species but also pike, musky!
