This pattern incorporates multiple elements that effectively imitate emerging caddis. The yarn body and tail resemble the translucent shuck and also trap air during the cast, releasing bubbles underwater to simulate natural movement. The elk wing and dark peacock head contribute to its authentic appearance. Present this fly with a dead drift or a tight line swing for best results.
