The Dr. Slick Typhoon Pliers feature HR 70+ anvil tungsten carbide side cutters, offering exceptional performance for cutting monofilament and modern braid and synthetic lines. They can easily cut wire up to 60lbs, with jaws made from heat treated SUS420 J2 coated stainless steel and a HR of 52. The frame, made from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, is specially designed to withstand fishing in saltwater and includes non-slip rubber grips and a self-opening spring.
