These floating smelt are great patterns to have when fishing smelt runs, or on rivers with dams that have smelt drift. Our version of the floating smelt pattern is quite realistic, with a forked tail, realistic smelt colors, and 3-D holographic eyes. Now available in both a size 1 and size 2 option. Flies on the size 2 hooks are approximately 3" in length, the size 1's are jumbo 4" smelt that are also great for smallmouth bass on top of trout and landlocked salmon!
This is a in-house tied pattern and available on a limited basis.
