Sand eels are an abundant food source for striped bass here in New England. They can blanket shorelines creating aggressive feeding by striped bass. These Jiggy Sand Eels are tied using a sturdy saltwater jig hook and are designed to be fished slowly along the bottom of beaches and rocky shorelines.
