Raptor Smelt (Locally Tied)
Raptor Smelt (Locally Tied)
Couldn't load pickup availability
This smelt streamer pattern is a great early season fly to have in your box, but is also a good all-around trout streamer especially for New England. Available in two different color schemes, these flies were designed to imitate the colors of the smelt we have in here in Maine. A productive pattern for either casting or trolling. Tied with a combination of Raptor hackle and synthetic fibers.
- Tied on a size #6, long shank streamer hook
- Body braid is covered in resin for durability, weight, and attraction/appearance
Tied by: Josh Thelin
This is a in-house tied pattern. We try our best to keep our flies available and in stock, but during certain times there might be a slight delay due to demand, etc. Please contact us if you need these immediately, are going on a trip, or otherwise as we can certainly do our best to accommodate you!
