The Sonar Striper Intermediate fly line shares the same design as the floating Amplitude Smooth Striper line and is engineered for moderate to warm conditions. It features a consistent sink rate of 1.25 inches per second along its entire length, allowing flies to stay just beneath the surface. Equipped with a short, powerful head and enhanced with AST Plus additive, it enables effortless casting of large flies both nearby and at longer distances. Offered in sizes 7-10wt, it is recommended to match the line weight to your rod for optimal performance.
- Loads quickly and delivers the biggest flies to the furthest targets
- Excellent turnover due to short, powerful head and short front taper
- Full Intermediate version sinks at 1.25 IPS to get flies just below the surface
- Braided multifilament core
