Designed by All Points' owner Josh Thelin, the Rabbit Eel is a pattern originally tied to be fished along the bottom on sandy and rocky areas for striped bass. The serpentine movement of the rabbit/zonker strip creates a very similar movement to eels we find here in New England. Keep it low and slow and utilize the movement of the water and waves to give this fly the most action. Tied with tungsten dumbbell eyes to sink the fly right where it needs to be. This fly is also light enough to be fished on a 9wt. Tip: fish this fly on a sinking tip line for best results!
